Doing Something Different … Kelty Coal Race Championships!

‪#‎Kimpossible‬ Kelty Coal Race….. 8th Coal Lady, Yippeee!

You, reading this… may not be able to do anything you want right now, but I know you can find a way to find something that is possible. And if I can help you, mind, body, nutrition or confidence to do this… just let me know…

Here’s what happened!

Wow…. what a crazy, tough, mad, wonderful race the Kelty Coal Sack Race is…. the things I get myself into post contracting Weils Disease & Encephalitis!

So I did Miss Galaxy Universe… this got me lifting heavier weights regularly…. which led me to think I might be able to do the Wool Sack Race (18kg Wool, 400m up a hill in Tetbury), which led me to think I might be able to do the Scottish Coal Sack Champs (25kg up a 1km hill climb…).. ( you can read about all these in previous blogs if you fancy… just search in the top right corner)

The noise, the crowds, neurology and balance made it all challenging, yet we all have challenges…. focus, concentrate, breathe, find your flow, develop your strength… and commit… to whatever you really want to achieve.

It may be uncomfortable yet I am sure, totally sure, possible and worth your commitment…

Loved this race, tough, strong, strong ladies kicked my ass… but super surprised to collect 8th Coal Lady!! Woop… a wonderful medal and £25, yippee… and ‘wee’ treat and I will give a contribution to Scottish Guide Dogs which is the chosen event charity – http://www.guidedogs.org.uk/sensational-seven

What’s next…… we shall see… I’m open to suggestions!

Got a goal or ambition, personal or ‘out there’… let me know & I can let you know how I might be able to help you make it happen.

I like this quote….

‘All courses of action are risky, so prudence is not in avoiding
danger, but calculating risk and acting decisively… Develop the
strength to do both these things, not the strength to suffer…’
Niccolo Machiavelli

Big Happy last week of August… into September.
